First, I want to say thank you to those of you who commented on and shared my posts over the last couple of days. There's nothing that warms the cockles of a writer's heart more than knowing she has readers. It's even better to have evidence that the readers liked what they read. That you appreciated my posts enough to share and comment is quite a compliment. Thank you. And please, feel free to do so at any time.
Second, I'm delighted to report that the National Weather Service forecast says that Valdez is likely to have a respite from the rain for a few days, maybe more, although temperatures are expected to stay in the 30s. I can live with that. Hopefully the Lowe River will break through that avalanche over it and the highway so road crews can clear the snow and assess the damage to the road.
For now, I will appreciate today's beautiful sunrise. Tomorrow will bring what it will bring.
