No, this post doesn't have anything to do with blended families or anything else so serious. I just thought I'd share some photos from a recent glass class. My coworker, Donna, treated five of her grandchildren to a couple of hours of fun playing with fused glass. They opted to make suncatchers to bring a little color into the coming winter.
I often try to take photos of my classes at work, but all I usually manage to get it the tops of heads and bent backs. This time, I crouched down so I could look up at them and snap the pictures, but they're not a lot better. Anyway, the important thing is the glass art they created. The six pieces were all very different, but all beautiful. I especially love the dragonfly created by 7-year-old Joslyn.
