I'm struggling a bit at the moment with this blog. I'm in the middle of two extremely busy weeks a work: last week included a major oil spill drill in Valdez that took up a lot of time. Right now, I'm in Kenai getting ready for another two days of drills. Weather permitting, I'll be home Friday morning.
I've managed to have a bit of a life during all of this. Thane and I celebrated our 19th anniversary yesterday (or, as he says, 38 years - 19 for each of us) and managed a dinner out together. I got out on a couple of nice walks. I've thought of several things I'd like to write about, if only I can find the time.
My dilemma is this: do I write about topics as I have time or do I stick with the chronology of life and let topics go if their time passes? You'll have to indulge me because I think I'm going to do the former. I really want to tell you about our rafting trip this summer, and I just finally got my journal back last week. I had an interesting visit to the Valdez cemetery two weekends ago. I've been taking a great writing class, and I want to share what I've learned. My last glass class was great fun and I want to share my student's projects.
So, I'll thank you ahead of time for indulging me as I wander through time in the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey.
So, I'll say ahead
