It was daylight when Thane and I returned to our room after an early morning soak in the rock lake at Chena Hot Springs. As I sat on the bed, I looked out the window and noticed that everything I could see was in shades of gray. It appeared as if the world were being rendered in black and white. Simply beautiful.
