Hmm...it didn't appear that my attempts to write like Hemingway last week were greatly appreciated. I received far fewer comments than normal on that post, but I do appreciate the kind words from those of you who did comment. I can't say that writing in such a spare, terse manner is for me.

Cherish the One You Love
“Ah, my sweet, I have missed you while I’ve been at work,” he
Knowing that she’d always want to look her best, even when she couldn’t take care of herself, he refreshed her petal pink lipstick, added just a touch of blush to her cheeks, and combed her hair back from her eyes. He had to spend much of his time caring for her and ensuring that there was no deterioration in her condition. Some said death brought the end of a relationship, but he didn’t believe it.
