A great time was had by all as we struggled to learn to bend wire into simple p-loops and secure loops. These techniques were just two of the ones Denyse Brown taught us yesterday in her basic earring construction class. It was also fun to sort through my bead stash to find the perfect beads for creating our visions.
Here's the class, hard at work under Denyse's tutelage:
The techniques learned in this class will serve well those who choose to take Denyse's next class, Simple Bead Stringing. Don't let the name fool you; you'll learn much more than your kindergartener did stringing plastic pony beads. Her third class, Beginning Wirework, will take your skills even further into more unique creations. Never fear, however, it's not necessary to have taken a previous class in order to take a later one.
